An Icon Margaret River Chardonnay Degustation
Discover five icon Margaret River chardonnays while sampling delicious Western Australian produce in a collaborative dinner at Gunther’s Restaurant.
Start the evening with Margaret River Blanc de Blanc sparkling before sitting down to a decadent 7-course degustation crafted by visiting local Chef Tony Howell (of Cape Lodge) and Chef Gunther Hubrechsen. Expect ocean grown abalone from Augusta, as well as other Western Australian grown/farmed produce.
Accompanying the food will be a suitably special chardonnay tasting journey, with current and museum vintages being poured by five leading wineries of the Margaret River Region, including Flametree Wines, Xanadu, Vasse Felix, Pierro and Woodlands.
You’ll have the opportunity to chat with the winemakers over dinner, who will be seated throughout the restaurant and will share some tasting notes to assist you on your sampling journey.
